What percent of fat is needed for 6 pack abs?
I’ve been dieting i am 15, and started at 123. I was planning to lose some body fat first then bulk up. So now I weigh 115 and I’m not sure when it’ll start showing up, I lost 7 pounds of fat, and I’ve been doing crutches and sit-ups and drinking muscle milk. When will results start showing up?
If you are burning fat,losing weight, and doing “crunches” etc., you are already developing your “abs”. If you continue, your abs will continue to develop and your layers of fat will continue to disappear.
Be concerned about making sure you are burning MORE calories than you are taking in, and that you are actually “CHALLENGING” your abs. Overall fat % though a worthy goal is not the criteria to determine when your abs become more prominant..
It appears that you are doing things correctly, and I suspect you DO notice an improvent in “toning” your body. You NEED a certain amount of fat to build muscle, and j losing weight is only part of it. Good luck, Peace.
It really depends on your height and not to mention you could already be skinny enough maybe just not strong enough yet. Also depends where your fat distributes.
